ARI Quick Reference Procedure – Relieving Axis Min-Max Alarms
When your ARI robot encounters an axis minimum/maximum alarm, it signals a potential over-stroke of its axis. This guide provides a comprehensive insight into why these alarms are generated and how to promptly address and resolve them for smooth robot operations.
An axis minimum/maximum alarm becomes present when the robot over-strokes it’s axis. This alarm is generated when the robot axis’ min/max sensors travel over their respective actuators or “flags”. This condition can occur when the robot is moved in manual before resetting the robot. This condition may also occur if your axis’ soft limits are greater than the available stroke of that particular axis.
